Seasonal Volunteering

Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall. All you have to do is call – or click!

Holidays and special days bring communities together. Shepherds of Good Hope volunteers are the friendly faces seen by those using our services, making everybody feel at home.

Holidays are a busy time and volunteers help by preparing and serving meals in our community kitchen and our supportive housing programs across the city.

Volunteers also help sort and organize holiday donations and assist with holiday-themed parties for individuals using our shelter services and our residents in our supportive housing programs, proving it’s better to give AND receive.

Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Easter holidays are our busiest times of year. However, Shepherds serves a diverse population, so you are invited to suggest other special times of year that are meaningful to you!
