Adam, a Shepherds volunteer in supportive housing, wasn’t always sure about volunteering at Shepherds of Good Hope. He was curious about the unknown, and concerned about how people experiencing homelessness can be unfairly targeted by community groups.
In his letter to the editor of the Ottawa Citizen, Adam tells his story, and shares how he went from unsure to being positive about making a difference in the lives of his neighbours.
