Discover our Continuum of Care – Impact Report 2023-2024
In Ottawa, almost 9,000 individuals spent at least one night in one of Ottawa’s shelters. At Shepherds of Good Hope, our shelter welcomes an average of 244 people every day of the year.
Our continuum of care helps those individuals, providing them with a bed, meals, and healthcare support, thanks to our partners at Ottawa Inner City Health, and our relationships with Ottawa Police and Paramedic Services.
Shepherds also provides permanent, supportive housing for almost 300 residents in our supportive housing residences, located strategically throughout Ottawa.
That’s 300 people who were experiencing chronic homelessness, but are now in a place where they receive the wrap-around support they need to help them exit chronic homelessness.
Inspiring stories can be found in all Shepherds programs and buildings. The people who work, volunteer, and support people experiencing homelessness, are vital in delivering Shepherds continuum of care.
You can meet just a few in Impact Report 2023-2024 The Continuum of Care.
