Shepherds of Good Hope cleans up community in #TrashTag Challenge this Earth Day

Ottawa, ON – Monday April 22, 2019 – Shepherds of Good Hope staff and clients participate in the #TrashTag challenge in an effort to continue to be a good neighbour and make a small part of our community cleaner.

We will be adding to our daily cleaning responsibilities on Shepherds of Good Hope grounds to cleaning up four blocks around our neighbourhood from 9am to 10am. We are so appreciative of the support from Tomlinson who is supplying Shepherds of Good Hope with gloves, bags and garbage pickers for our Earth Day #TrashTag challenge!

For the past 36 years, Shepherds of Good Hope has always strived to be a good neighbour and values the community and community partners. Our Facilities Services team specifically plays a key role in keeping the grounds in and around Shepherds of Good Hope clean 24/7, 365 days a year in our 8 locations across the city.

Deirdre Freiheit, President and CEO of Shepherds of Good Hope says, “Just like any good neighbour, we think it’s important to be good neighbours in our community. We challenge service providers and individuals in our community to join Shepherds of Good Hope in our spring cleaning efforts in the neighbourhood for Earth Day this year.”
