Winter Pride with Shepherds of Good Hope

We were proud to join other community organizations for the first ever Winter Pride march this year. Starting on Parliament Hill, attendees listened to inspiring and heartfelt speeches. It then continued down Elgin Street and then along Sparks Street. The march marked the 50th anniversary of the decriminalization of certain homosexual acts by the Canadian parliament in 1969.

Even though it was a bit chilly, we were so pleased to come out and support LGBTQ2S individuals who use our services, who volunteer with us, and who work in our locations across the city. We believe in homes for all, community for all, hope for all — without judgement.

Have a look at some of the great photos of our Shepherds of Good Hope team during the march!
